Here is the summary of EAMCET Spot Admission details:

The Principals are aware that, EAMCET 2008 Admissions were completed on 23-10-2008. It is informed that, during the final round of web based counselling, the seats were converted from one category to another category and finally diverted to the OPEN CATEGORY” as per rules.

The details of the left over vacancies after web counselling are shown in the OPEN CATEGORY (Male & Female) and the same are placed in the website: http://eamcet.dte.gov.in. The vacancies of B.Pharmacy and Bio-Technology courses will be placed on the web on 08-11-2008, after officering them to Bi.P.C. Stream candidates to enable you to conduct Institutional Spot Admissions.

Principals are requested to download the vacancies and issue a notification for these left over vacancies, drop out vacancies and cancelled seats at their end, in any one of the leading newspaper of that region for conducting spot admissions.

Please note that, the candidates who have not taken admission any where so far and qualified in EAMCET–2008 need to be considered first, for Spot Admissions. if qualified candidate of EAMCET 2008 are not available then, candidates who have secured 50% and above aggregate marks in the Intermediate or its equivalent examination are to be considered for spot admissions.

The admissions should be conducted after completing the internal sliding at the institution level. While effecting the internal sliding please note that, a category seat vacated by a candidate should be first given to that category candidate and if the candidate is not available the same should be diverted to OPEN CATEGORY and finally filled.

Principals are requested to comply with the following:

1. If any candidate desires to cancel the admission after 29-10-2008, Principal is requested to endorse on the allotment order by writing Admission is Cancelled and affix signature and office stamp.

2. Please collect Rs. 3,500/- towards cancellation fee in respect of OC/BC candidates and Rs. 1,500/- from SC/ST candidates and send the DD in the name of the Convenor, EAMCET 2008 (Admissions), payable at Hyderabad at the time of submitting list of spot admissions for ratification.

3. Please do not fill up any double payment seat cancelled at your level after 29-10-2008 as the number of fee waiver beneficiaries are limited only to the number of double payment seats filled in your college as per G.O. Ms. No. 73.

4. The Not Reported cases should be notified in the newspaper indicating Hall Ticket Number, Rank, Course, category, Name etc., stipulating a date for reporting preferably at least a day before the day of the Spot Admissions in the college.

Please collect all original certificates viz., S.S.C. Memo, Intermediate Marks Memo, Study certificates, Residence, Caste Certificate etc. Candidate should not be admitted with out original certificates being produced under any circumstances.

The following are the dates to be followed by the Principals in connection with the Spot Admissions.

1. Last date for conducting Spot Admissions 15-11-2008

2. Last date for submission of Spot Admission list for Ratification by the Convenor, EAMCET 2008 (Admissions) 20-11-2008

The Principals are requested to submit the following along with Spot Admission list for ratification.

a) Newspaper copy of notification for conducting Spot Admissions.

b) Xerox copies of all original certificates collected during spot admissions.
